RCPV Overview

RCPV is a new efficient modularized PV technology, which utilizes trough reflectors to concentrate sunlight to concentrating Photovoltaic modules. The modules absorb sunlight and output electricity. Cooling medium is adopted to cool the components as RCPV system is generating electricity, lowering the operation temperature of cells and also recycling the heat produced by cells. The thermal cogeneration system can maximize the solar comprehensive utilization efficiency.

RCPV Composition
RCPV system has three technical points namely concentrating technology, efficient technology and thermal recovery technology.
  • Concentrating system
    Adopting one-dimension tracking mode. Utilizing trough reflectors to concentrate sunlight, which can improve output capacity of PV cell.
  • Photovoltaic (pv) system
    Special encapsulated concentrating cells are adopted to realize solar energy’s high conversion efficiency.
  • Thermal Recovery System
    The heat absorbed by concentrating cell modules will be exported by cycling medium so as to achieve heat supply.

RCPV Core Advantages
RCPV system mainly utilizes low-cost concentrating system to focus sunlight to a small quantity of solar cells, reducing the quantity of expensive solar cells and improving generating efficiency. Adopting one-dimension tracking technology can increase generating capacity so as to significantly reduce generating cost. Compared with PV under same light condition, RCPV has following advantages.

  • Connected to grid

    Modularized assembly design is adopted, easy to achieve fast installation of large PV Plant and high Photoelectric conversion efficiency. The electric energy is directly fed into public grid by grid-connected inverter so as to achieve grid-connected power generation.
  • Building roof

    Thermal cogeneration of buildings: The products can be installed on the roof of buildings and achieve electricity and heat supply to the buildings, applying to all kinds of civil buildings, public buildings and industrial buildings which are able to bear the RCPV system.
  • Oil and Gas Exploitation

    RCPV can supply electricity to pumping unit and building area. It can also heat the oil and gas gathering and transportation, keeping the temperature of oil tanks. The system is safe and stable, good to environment.
  • Seawater Desalination

    RCPV can provide heat and electric energy for seawater desalination process in place of fossil fuel, achieving the desalination of sea water.
